National Australia Bank shall abide by the following policy of solicitation based upon "The law on sales of financial products" when the bank solicits and sells financial instruments;
1) We shall not make a solicitation which is deemed to be inappropriate in terms of customers' knowledge, experience, situation of assets and purpose of making a contract regarding sales of financial instruments . We shall solicit after taking into accounts customers' experience of investments, purpose of investments (nature of funds, period of investment, preference for risk), annual income, amount of financial assets, job and so on.
2) We shall explain in necessary way and to necessary extent for customers to understand in terms of customers' knowledge, experience, situation of assets and purpose for making contract related to sales of our bank's products when we explain to customers about our bank's financial products, especially about their risk.
3) We shall make an effort so that customers are able to understand correctly important matters of financial products. We shall not mislead customers, not providing assertive judgment nor untrue information, when we explain uncertain items.
4) We shall not solicit during an inconvenient time zone, at an inconvenient place and in an inconvenient manner for customers.
5) We shall make an effort to obtain products knowledge, having sufficient studies, in order not to avoid inappropriate solicitation to customers. And also we shall continue to make an effort to enhance internal control system so that we are able to abide by relevant regulations and make an proper solicitation.
